Explore Nature at Lime Hollow

If you are native to the Cortland community, it is likely you have heard about Lime Hollow. Lime Hollow is a beautiful nature center that was founded in 1993. They started with 100 acres and 2 buildings owned by the US Geological Survey Department.  Over time, they have grown considerably both in acreage and in what they offer to the community.  For example, their visitors center features a space for exhibits and education displays and outdoors, a bird sanctuary.  More information related to their history can be found on their website: https://www.limehollow.org/history

Lime Hollow is home to over 450 acres encompassing woods, forests, streams, a variety of ponds,  fields and wetlands and more.   Lime Hollow offers a variety of educational opportunities including summer programs, preschool programs, home school programs, and currently has  some engaging online opportunities.
