Cortland County School Supply and Clothing Drives

There are a couple of community drives happening in Cortland County this week.  Please spread the word to anyone who may benefit!

Cortland County Community Action Programs (CAPCO).  CAPCO is running a wonderful drive that includes a shopping trip for school supplies and clothing.  For more information and eligibility requirements please call Brandy at (607) 753-6781 ext. 1119.  CAPCO is also receiving federal (CARES) funding to help families with many other needs, as many people are struggling financially right now. So if you are experiencing any financial strain, please don’t hesitate to call them for more information!  Please pass this on to anyone who may benefit from this effort.

Cortland YWCA will also be having a school supply drive this Fall. They are asking for the following donations if you are able to provide any of these: 

Pencils/Pens, Binders, Notebooks, Backpacks, Paper, Hand Sanitizers, Crayons/Markers, Paints, Colored Pencils, Tissues, Scissors, Wet Wipes, Glue Bottles and Sticks, Pencil Sharpeners

* They ask that you please Drop off supplies before September 1st in the marked box in the YWCA vestibule on Clayton Avenue.
